5 Mistakes Women Make When Trying to Lose Fat

Most women who struggle with fat loss are not lazy. They are following advice that sets them up to fail. Here are the five mistakes I see most often.

1. Eating Too Little

Crash diets slow your progress and destroy your energy. A small, sustainable calorie deficit protects your muscle, your hormones and your sanity.

2. Skipping Strength Training

Cardio alone is not the answer. Lifting weights builds the muscle that shapes your body and keeps your metabolism healthy.

3. Ignoring Protein

Protein keeps you full and protects muscle while you lose fat. Build every meal around a protein source and everything gets easier.

4. Chasing Perfection

One off plan meal does not ruin anything. The all or nothing mindset is what actually ruins progress. Aim for consistent, not perfect.

5. Not Sleeping Enough

Poor sleep increases cravings and drains the willpower you need to make good choices. Seven to nine hours is not a luxury, it is part of the plan.

Fat loss should make you feel stronger, not smaller. Be patient with your body and focus on habits you can keep for life.
